DawBell wins ‘PR Campaign Of The Year Award’  at the Music Week Awards

DawBell were delighted to win one of the most prestigious PR awards in the music industry this month - ‘Best PR Campaign Of The Year’ for Craig David at the Music Week Awards 2017, held at The Grosvenor Hotel in London on 5th April. Since launching in 2009 DawBell has achieved seven PR Campaign nominations in seven years, more than any other agency or in-house team in the business.

Laura Sinclair, head of press at DawBell said of the win: “We’re overwhelmed, there were so many amazing people in this category. It was such an honour to be shortlisted and to be part of it. The biggest thing for us was changing perception. We worked on that for two years, changing the story at press was the big thing and that changed everything. It helped Craig get the No.1 album and sell out arenas.”

Amelia O’Shea, senior PR manager at DawBell also said: “It’s the icing on the cake of an incredible year. To get recognised by our peers for that is great.”

Further to this, in the last three months, DawBell has also been shortlisted for ‘Small Agency’ at the PR Moment Awards 2017, and was named within the top two entertainment companies in the recent PR Week Power Book 2017. Managing Directors Rich Dawes and Stuart Bell were also recognised within this as two of the top most influential professionals in Entertainment PR.
